This is how you keep perfect peace in these times, now I don’t know where you’re at the moment but I know that at the moment I’m really taking a faith step that is quite significant and its really like a big faith step, and this verse is just an appropriate. Isn’t God good in what he does and he knows our needs and you know if you spend time in prayer with him you will hear and he will speak to you through his spirit the holy spirit, and this is what Isaiah 26:3 says, and I’m reading out of the new king James spiritual life bible it is just a fantastic bible with all its notes so here it is and its actually three and four. “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you trust in the Lord forever for in yah the Lord is everlasting strength”. You will keep him that’s you me, you will keep us in perfect peace when our mind stayed on you, because we trust in you trust in the Lord forever for in yah the lord is everlasting strength.
In the footnotes in this in 26:3 perfect peace is expressed in Hebrew by shalom, shalom a Hebrew method of putting great emphasis on a word. You will keep him in everything in the word shalom implies health, happiness, well-being, peace the word translated mind is not the usual Hebrew word, but rather a word meaning creative imagination, Azai’s thought Is that he whose creative imagination the seat of plans and ideas is firmly founded on the eternal lord will enjoy shalom in all its implications. So, in the translation here our mind creative imagination is stayed on God and his promises regardless of what is happening in the environment around us.
So, if we stay focuses on him in our creative imagination and not allow the enemy to come in, that means he will keep us in prefect peace and perfect means can be good or bad sense, so the mind can run to the negative without being fixed on God. But what God is saying here and by his spirit and his word your God will keep you in perfect peace when your mind is stayed on him because he trusts in you and that means you trust in him. So, shalom is a complete welfare, safe, whole health, tranquil, prosperity, rest, harmony a complete absence of agitation or discourse.
The interesting thing for me in my face step is that in heaven everyone’s got a book in heaven of what God’s dream and plans for him and over my lifetime and my walk with God I’ve had heaps of people prophesy the destiny in the plan that God has for us, it’s his dream and he’s got one for you to written in the book of heaven for you as well. He got an amazing amount of prophecies over my life, and its interesting in your journey God brings people across your path to help you one of the people prophetic people that really helped me was a guy called Graham Cooke and that’s Graham H with a H and an E on the end and cook with an E on the end as well Graham Cooke an amazing man of God and got a great prophetic ministry, but what he did is I went to I sensed well karen and I sense that the holy spirit told us to go to one of his conferences and when we went there, there was one there was much we go out of it but this one thing we got out of it which I want to share with you is this, when you receive a prophecy over your life it’s basically what God’s dream and plan is for you.

So, all of these things in here our God’s dream and planned for Carl John Fechner me right so this is but this is how he said Graham Cooke said “how you can translate that prophecy” and it says when God gets prophecy over Graham Cooke says “this is who I’ve become God is open his heart to me this is his promise to me I don’t have to ask, he’s given me permission but claim it, decree it, declare it and thank him I have permission from him” so I’ve already personalized that so I just want to read that to you again. This is who I’ve become God has open his heart to me this is his promise to me I don’t have to ask or beg him because he’s given me permission so my duty is to proclaim it, decree it, declare it and thank him because I have permission for him. So, all of these prophecies I’d condensed down to little short paragraphs and I personalized them so that they have already happened because that’s in God’s eyes the dreams that are destined in the plans that he has for us they’re already done in his world already done it’s just us in our fallen humanity that we go to a negative place and you know don’t see it or the devil whispers in their ear or that’ll never happen for you and all the other nonsense.
But how you overcome that is just what he’s saying in the desire 26:3 here, and so you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you, so what that so that’s just amazing you know with that promise there you will keep him God will keep me in perfect peace as my mind stays on him because I trust in him I trust in him that this will come to pass and I have been saying this for months and most of it has been intellectual ascent that hasn’t been able to go from here to here but I can assure you in the last I don’t know period of time six months it might even be less I know that is what God is saying to me and some of that is because I’m spending a lot if time in prayer with him I’m not saying I’m a hero with that that’s just God wants us to do I want to get the mind of God through this and the holy spirit is speaking to me through these and proclaiming it, so in this in my own my heart this has come to where probably 99% of this I’ve now accepted in my heart this is the reality of it doesn’t change that doesn’t change the fact that there’s face steps that I’m actually walking through now to be able to complete that but how good is God that when I go to look at this word this morning and that the verse though he told me to look up as for another story but my bible falls home to this page so my faith is being tested in a particular area in my life he says this first to me he is such a good guy so I encounter trust that that’s encouraging to.

We are all called to equip and disciple others
In the book of Matthew chapter 28:verses 18-20 it says,
He didn’t tell his disciple just to evangelise, create converts and then leave the new believers to sort themselves out and grow all by themselves. He delegated His authority to them to go and make disciples. Your role in making disciples is more than just bringing people to new spiritual birth. It means you have others following you and mentoring the new disciples on a continuing basis.
The original word that Jesus used here means to have someone following you as a disciple, or someone who is like an apprentice, hearing and following the discipler’s teaching and training. Notice also that Jesus was commanding something practical—the new disciples had to take heed to and obey everything that He had commanded them. And Jesus assured them of His continuing presence with them as they did that.
The disciples of Jesus took Him at His word.
On that great Day of Pentecost, 3000 people turned to the Lord Jesus Christ. So all the disciples of Jesus taught these new believers what it meant to be a disciple of Jesus, too. And then they saw to it that it was worked out in their daily lives, as the rest of Acts 2 shows.
The book of Acts chapter 2: verse42 says,
There were so many people who had believed on Jesus Christ on the Day of Pentecost that all of the 120 disciples who had gathered in the upper room had to become spiritual parents. The new believers needed to be cared for, whether Jesus’ disciples were ready or not! There is little doubt that they did not feel ready to be spiritual parents. So they had to learn on the job. And learn they did, as the rest of the book of Acts records.
You may not feel ready, either. But, just as God was with them and people were being added to the Lord daily, you can be assured that He is with you as you care for new disciples. You will find that God will give you an increase in parental capacity. The more you care for them and nurture them, the more He is adding strength and wisdom to you. Trust Him to give you everything you need to be good spiritual parents. He won’t let you down!
Equipping the Saints
In the book of Ephesians chapter 4, Paul makes it clear that the believers are the ones who do the ministry, not the apostles, the prophets, or the others in leadership. They are the equippers, or trainers. That is what we are doing for you, particularly in Module 4, called “Discipling Others” of the Growing Deep and Strong® series, equipping you so that you can mentor others.
In the book of Ephesians chapter 4 verses, 11-16 Paul says
Organic Church Growth
Paul makes it clear here that the church grows through ordinary believers who bring people to new birth and then disciple them in the power of the Holy Spirit. That is how they can empower them to become functioning members of the body of Christ, but they need to be committed to mentoring, training and discipling them.
Paul clearly states that every member of the body of Christ needs to do their share to build it up, and then it will naturally grow up to maturity. Equipping God’s people means to set things in their lives in order, to mend what has been broken, to see that they are qualified and fitted for the call that God has on their lives.
Traditional church thinking has been that it is the role of the minister and a select few, when in fact, it is the task of every believer as he or she takes on the privilege and responsibility of discipling others. With this in mind, we wrote Growing Deep and Strong® as an intentional Christian discipleship and small group leadership program to help you quickly transform the life of a new Christian.

Christian Leadership
What is Christian Leadership? It is the act of influencing and serving others, so they can accomplish the plans, dreams and destiny God has written in their book in heaven.
Psalm 139:16 — but with your own eyes you saw my body being formed. Even before I was born, you had written in your book everything I would do.(CEV).
Christian leadership is not rooted in worldly notions of success, such as the love of money or power and lording it over others. Jesus Himself spoke against this when expressing the importance of serving others. (Matt. 20:25-28).
“Great men lead people,” Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ said. “But greater men train leaders.” As leaders we are called not only to raise up followers, but also to equip leaders. How we define Christian leadership is the crucial starting point. –Ed Stetzer.
What is the difference between a Leader and Christian Leadership?
A leader is someone who places their personal agenda and organizational agenda before others, they tell people what to do, they see people as a means to gain glory, wealth and fame for the organization and themselves.
Leadership is a continuous process centred on a behavioral style of, “how can I help you to learn, grow and fulfill all that God has planned for your life?”
Christian leadership, the kind that honours God is not about the accumulation of power, It’s about empowering others to fulfill their destiny.
This style of leadership is aptly called Servant Leadership.
What is Servant Leadership?
As a servant leader, you’re a “servant first” – you focus on the needs of others before you consider your own.
You acknowledge other people’s perspectives, you wisely and gently give them the support they need to discover their God-given destiny and redefine character issues, you involve them in decisions where appropriate, you allow the Holy Spirit to direct them into Godly conclusions, you are willing to listen and learn from others, and you build a sense of community within the group of people you are leading.
This leads to higher engagement, more trust, and stronger relationships and inspires people to strive for all that God has to offer them in a transformed lifestyle. It can also lead to replicating servant leaders who mimic what you are modelling.
When people know you care about them, they will trust you because they know you have their best interest at heart. When people feel valued, they value what they do and your investment in them is returned when they become invested in the quality of work they do.
Mat 20:25 — But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them.Mat 20:26 — But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,
Mat 20:27 — and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave.
Mat 20:28 — For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many.
What are the characteristics of a good leader?
The Bible is the best source of practical knowledge that we can apply in our everyday lives. The wisdom it gives can help us discern things and make any decision right.
God is the perfect example of a great leader, and we can learn great lessons of Christian leadership from His words and teaching.
Leaders have the power to shape nations, change organizations and shape current and future generations.
Without Godly leadership, humanity falls into moral decay, corruption and ruled by Satanic forces.
18 Biblical qualities of a great leader.
The following are the qualities you should aspire for to become a great servant leader.
Plus, they are an ideal way to measure current and future leaders in determining if they possess the biblical qualities of a great servant leader.
1. They Are Humble Servants.
But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant”. Luke 22:26 (NLT)
2. They detest Wrongdoing.
A king detests wrongdoing, for his rule is built on justice. Proverbs 16:12
3. They Are Honest and Value Integrity
Send out Your light and Your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to Your holy mountain, to the place where You live. Psalm 43:3
4. They lead in a manner that people will be glad to follow.
Make me walk along the path of Your commands, for that is where my happiness is found. Psalm 119:35
5. They desire to protect the people they are leading.
Even there Your hand will guide me, and Your strength will support me. Psalm 139:10
6. They are merciful and compassionate.
They will neither hunger nor thirst. The searing sun will not reach them anymore. For the LORD in His mercy will lead them; He will lead them beside cool waters. Isaiah 49:10
7. They do not encourage people to commit evil.
And don’t let us yield to temptation but rescue us from the evil one. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.] Mat 6:13
8. They are knowledgeable and mindful.
“So ignore them. They are blind guides leading the blind, and if one blind person guides another, they will both fall into a ditch.” Matthew 15:14
9. They desire to create a peaceful and godly environment
“Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1Timothy 2:2
10. Their words are respectful toward others.
Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior 2Timothy 2:16
11. They are diligent and hardworking.
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you Christian leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Romans 12:8
12. They have good advisers around them.
Without wise Christian leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers. Proverbs 11:14
13. They are faithful leaders whose work is based on love.
Then God will establish one of David’s descendants as king. He will rule with mercy and truth. He will always do what is just and be eager to do what is right. Isaiah 16:5
14. They have the will to serve; they’re not greedy for money.
Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. 1Peter 5:2
15. They lead by example.
Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. 1Peter 5:2-3
16. They demonstrate Godly skills and integrity.
He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skillful hands. Psalm 78:72
17. They are prudent, teachable and seek counsel of others.
“Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him? Luke 14:31
18. They are a good role models and lead by example
This is a trustworthy saying: “If someone aspires to be an elder, he desires an honorable position.”
So an elder must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach.
He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money.
He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him.
For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church? 1Timothy 3:1-5
Training tomorrows leaders
As we look around the world today, we find great leaders are rare. It’s difficult or even near impossible to find a human leader who has all the qualities just mentioned.
With love as the foundation of Christian leadership, anyone could be a great leader people deserve, not to mention that leader could be you.

A harvest of souls
There is coming a harvest of souls like we have never seen before since time began.
That is a big statement, but Amos 3:7 says, “Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until He reveals His plans to His servants the prophet.”
Right across the globe, God is speaking to His prophets and saying that there is coming a harvest of souls and a worldwide awakening like we have never seen before. Some call it the Third Great Awakening.
Tracy Eckert in her book called God’s End-Time Temple published by Destiny Image wrote this. “God is going to take every move of God that we have ever heard of in history and even what we witnessed in Bible days and put it all together in one big Holy Ghost bomb and drop it on earth. The nations will reel with the power of God like they have never seen, and prime time news will cover it.”
What is a Spiritual Harvest of Souls?
A spiritual harvest of souls is the result of God’s work in the heart of man. Jesus spoke of a spiritual harvest waiting to be reaped.
As Jesus travelled, “he saw the crowds, [and] he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
As we look around us, we see a world in chaos and the masses growing in irrational fear, we are observing ungodly and tyrannical leadership creating destructive laws that oppose the way God meant humanity to live by.
In Matthew 9:36–38, Here, Jesus referred to the many souls needing to be brought to repentance and faith as a harvest waiting to be realized.
Discipling the Harvest of Souls
My greatest concern is effectively discipling the harvest of souls. The majority of souls being saved will have no biblical worldview and our role as Christians is to make sure that we are equipping the saints and we retain the harvest.
Parable of the Sower
In Matthew 13:3, 9. He told many stories in the form of parables, such as this one: “Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds. As he scattered them across his field, some seeds fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate them. Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun, and since they didn’t have deep roots, they died. Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants. Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted! Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” Christian Discipleship, why is it important
Christian Discipleship, why is it important?
In an earlier article, I wrote about why Christian discipleship is important and the common mistake of a converts vs. discipleship mentality.
The Welsh revival is a good example of what may have been poor discipleship. In 1904 in a single year, a 100,000 people made a commitment to become followers of Jesus Christ and the transformation of society is breathtaking when you read accounts of that period of history in Wales.
Long term consequences
Although the revival spread far and wide and impacted many nations, a hundred years on the number of followers of Jesus Christ in wales is a fraction of what is was in those heady days.
Is that we want?
We must be equipping the saints with effective tools for the harvest and a new Christian Course that has been designed for brand new Christians who have no church background. It must be simple to use, easy to read and empowering almost anyone with management or proven leadership skills to disciple others.
The Growing Deep and Strong® Series

New Christian Course
Our New Christian Course has been designed for brand new Christians who have no church background like me when I first became a follower of Jesus Christ on May 23rd, 1990.
I knew I wanted God in my life but had no idea why Jesus Christ died on the Cross, who the Holy Spirit was, or how to read a Bible and live a new lifestyle that was very different from my worldly lifestyle.
It was a difficult for me and my wife Karen to find New Christian Course materials that made sense to someone who never grew up in a Church environment.
We were dedicated to being followers of Jesus Christ, change our very worldly lifestyle and live according to what the Bible taught.
We now live a fantastic Christian lifestyle with all the blessings and freedom a follower of Jesus Christ can have when they follow the principles of what the Bible teaches.
But it was a very long journey, and most New Christian Course materials were fragmented and written in “Christianese” language that as new believers it was very foreign to the worldly language we were used to.
Many would have given up and fell back to their old ways. Doggedly we persisted and slowly we grew in our knowledge and our lifestyle changed.
Over the years we have observed how poorly the body of Christ has been discipled, and sometimes it is difficult to discern the difference in the behaviour of some Christians to the worldly behaviour of non-believers.
A Vision of The Coming Harvest
Early in my Christian walk, God gave me a vision of the coming harvest, and the vision was this:
I saw a fishing trawler that had just returned from netting a large catch, and on the rear deck was a very large net swinging from a crane, it was full of fresh fish, it was literally bursting at the seams and the crane was straining under the weight of the catch.
The fish were freshly caught, fat, very healthy, sea water was still dripping from the net onto the deck, and I was watching the odd small fish slipping through the net onto the deck.
As I kept looking at the vision, I saw a drawstring rope keeping the net closed at the bottom and from the corner of my eye I saw a hand holding the rope and it appeared that at any moment the person holding the rope was about to release the catch.
Coming from a fishing background I knew that when the catch was released onto the deck, It would a call to, “All hands on deck,” to clean the catch quickly before they went smelly, rotten and of no use to anyone.
As I pondered the vision, I realised the fish represented the coming “harvest of souls” and the hand on the rope was Jesus Christ, and at any moment was about to release the catch.
And the call “all hands on deck” will be for the Christian community to quickly clean up the harvest before they go smelly and of no use. (my words for expressing being poorly discipled or fall away.)
Amos 3:7 says, The Lord does nothing unless He first reveals His secrets to His servants the prophets.
It is evident from the Prophetic community that at any moment there is coming a Great Awakening like we have never seen before in history.
It was for this reason that I wrote the Growing Deep and Strong® Series to Equip the Saints to quickly disciple new Christians.
The Growing Deep and Strong® Series is an intentional Christian discipleship and small group leadership program to help you quickly transform the life of a new Christian.
You will take a person from a pagan background to a Christian small group leader discipling others in 12 months or less.
It’s all done for you
If you have a burning desire to disciple others, this is for you. I have made it easy to use and simple to teach, I have given you all the Bible verses and commentaries in the Coach’s manual that you will ever need to disciple a new Christian.
It is biblically sound and easy to teach. It has been designed to empower ordinary Christians who have a desire to teach new believers on how to live a transformed life according to God’s word.
Myself and various contributors collectively spent over 35,000 hours to give you a complete-off-the shelf Christian Bible study discipleship and leadership course that you simply purchase and implement.

Restore family and you restore society
One of the fundamentals in preserving society is to focus on the family unit. As we look around society today, we can see that the family unit as God meant it to be is being destroyed.
In the Bible, God has a lot to say about family, its preservation and wellbeing. Yet all around us we see Godly family values are being ignored and as a result, society is paying a heavy price.
God’s design of family is being destroyed
The destruction of the family unit is rampant in our society today, marriage is no longer important, divorce has become the norm, single mums with children from different fathers is common. Men continually abdicate their responsibility as fathers and desert the woman when she falls pregnant. Teenage delinquency, drug abuse, sexual promiscuity, suicide can be traced back to dysfunctional families.
PLEASE NOTE; if you are reading this, my intent is not to bring judgment or condemnation upon you, prior to becoming a follower of Jesus Christ in 1990, my life was no different and thought it was “normal”.
I have seen it firsthand as I work with Youth Insearch and young adults between the age of 14 to 20 share horrendous stories of what they have experienced in their dysfunctional families.
Why is family important?
Family is important because it provides love, support and a framework of values to each of its members.
Family members teach each other, serve one another and share life’s joys and sorrows. Families provide a setting for personal growth. Family is the single most important influence in a child’s life. Family is the most important and valuable gift that God has given us.
Family is the single most important influence in a child’s life. From their first moments of life, children depend on parents and family to protect them and provide for their needs.
Parents and family form a child’s first relationships. Family provides all members with security, identity and values, regardless of age.
When a member of a family feels insecure or unsafe, they turn to their family for help. They learn about their sense of self and gains a foundation for the rest of their life.
This foundation includes the family’s values which provide the basis for their own moral code. Spending time with family shows individuals the value of love, appreciation and open communication.
Defining Family Values
The only successful benchmark to defining family values is to go to the original source and that is God Himself and His word.
Power of a Godly family
When I wrote the Growing Deep and Strong® series, we knew we needed to address this serious issue that is destroying the fabric of society and focus on the family unit by adding a section on how God designed the family unit and the importance of the family unit for the future and wellbeing of society.
I cover the topics in a progressive manner that regardless of the readers age, they will discover how God designed the family unit
It is such a vital topic that our focus on the family unit is discussed over four sessions in the advanced module called “Power of Godly Character”
- Power of Parenthood
- Power of Integrity
- Power of Purity
- Power of a Godly Family
I take the reader on a journey from child to teenager to parent and ultimately grandparents and cover exhaustively what makes a great family work from a biblical point of view which is the original source.
